How LIFE VISIO Photocells Work
The VISIO system consists of a transmitter and receiver installed opposite each other across the entrance. The transmitter produces an infrared beam that is continuously monitored by the receiver.
If a vehicle, person or object interrupts the beam, the receiver signals the automation controller. Depending on the control-board programming, this can prevent closing, stop movement or reverse the gate or barrier.
